Nags Head Water Rescue assemble on the side porch of Chicamacomico's 1911 Life Saving Station in Rodanthe after their annual orientation visit to the Station. They learned about their historical predecessors on the Outer Banks and the noble tradition that they will embody this summer. Stay Safe All.

Dowdy Park Dedication

Chicamacomico brought their famous “Paint a Shake” station to the dedication of Dowdy Park in Nags Head. Chicamacomico’s 1874 Station Gets a New Roof

Fin and Nancy Gaddy of Manteo present Board President John Griffin with a check for $20,000 to replace the roof of Chicamacomico’s 1874 Station which is visible in the background.
